Envirep is a distributor of municipal and industrial water and wastewater equipment serving the Mid-Atlantic Region. We are looking for an individual to provide preventive maintenance, start-up and service support. Along with a positive and team-oriented attitude, eligible candidates MUST HAVE mechanical/electrical problem solving skills, knowledge of pumps, valves, instrumentation on PLC's and good communication skills as well as some computer knowledge.

This position requires strong electrical aptitude. Candidates that do not reference specific electrical experience that demonstrates an electrical background will not be considered for employment. Candidates should have experience with 3 phase controls, and ability to read wiring schematics.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, startup, installation and repair services
  • Build customer relationships
  • Utilize and maintain company vehicle and equipment in good, clean working condition
  • Accurately fill out forms and maintain documentation
  • Follow all health and safety guidelines and policies
  • Other duties as assigned by manager

Requirements

This position requires daily travel, a flexible schedule, and availability for 24 hour emergency calls. This position requires daily travel within anywhere from 0 to 3 hours away from central office including occasional overnight trips depending on distance. Service truck can be driven home. Eligible candidates must pass both a driving record and background check.

Main office is located in Camp Hill, PA but we are looking for a person that lives in the Harrisburg, Lancaster, or York area.

Specific Qualifications Include

  • Technical knowledge and mechanical aptitude to repair, maintain and troubleshoot pumps, controls, and other mechanical/electrical equipment
  • Time management and organization skills
  • Work independently without direct supervision
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills and teamwork
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new equipment and systems
  • Microsoft Office Suite or equivalent skills
  • High School diploma required
  • Associate's degree or technical school preferred
  • 2-5 years of experience in water or wastewater is preferred, but not required
  • Experience with pumps, controls, instrumentation, or related experience/training preferred
  • Driver’s License and clean driving record required

Physical Demands

  • Occasionally required to work in confined spaces
  • Occasionally required to climb ladders
  • Required to drive both short and long distances
  • Occasionally required to lift 60 pounds
  • Occasionally maneuver equipment weighing up to several thousand pounds using proper equipment

Working Conditions & Environment

  • Required to use personal protective equipment in indoor and outdoor environments
  • On and off-road driving, subject to varying road and weather conditions
  • Outdoor sites can be located at pumping stations, water plants, and wastewater plants
  • Requires daily travel from 0 to 4 hours including occasional overnight trips
