We are in search of a dedicated full-time service technician to offer our customers a comprehensive range of services, including preventative maintenance, startup assistance, troubleshooting, and efficient repair service.

The ideal candidate will reside in Cumberland, Dauphin, Lancaster, Lebanon, or Berks Counties. This position requires daily travel and a flexible schedule. The company provides a service vehicle and offers PTO, holidays, profit sharing retirement program, and yearly bonus. Eligible candidates must pass both a driving record and background check. Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, startup, installation, and repair services
  • Build customer relationships
  • Utilitze and maintain company vehicles and equipment in good, clean working condition
  • Accurately fill out forms and maintain documentation
  • Follow all health and safety guidelines and policies
  • Other duties as assigned by the manager

Knowledge and Skills

  • Technical knowledge and mechanical aptitude to repair, maintain and troubleshoot pumps, controls, and other mechanical/electrical equipment
  • Electrical troubleshooting, wiring diagrams, electrical theory
  • Time management and organization skills
  • Work independently without direct supervision
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and collaborative
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new equipment and systems
  • Microsoft Office Suite or equivalent skills

Education and Experience

  • High School diploma required
  • Associates degree or technical school preferred
  • 2-5 years of experience in water or wastewater is preferred, but not required
  • Experience with pumps, controls, instrumentation, or related experience/training
  • Driver's License and clean driving record required

Physical Demands

  • Occasionally required to work in confined spaces
  • Occasionally required to climb ladders
  • Required to drive both short and long distances
  • Occasionally required to lift 60 pounds
  • Occasionally maneuver heavy equipment using proper equipment

Working Conditions & Environment

  • Required to use personal protective equipment in indoor and outdoor environments
  • On and off-road driving, subject to varying road and weather conditions
  • Outdoor sites can be located at pumping stations, water plants, and wastewater plants
  • Required local travel, including occasional overnight trips
