Environetics Baffles and Covers

About Environetics

Envirep repreasent Environetics, a leading manufacturer of floating baffles, tank baffles, clearwell baffles, and tank covers for the water water and wastewater industry.

Environetics manufactures geomembrane baffles to increase water and wastewater treatment efficiency. They also manufacture composite covers that help in protecting air quality while preventing rampant biological growth.

The company is also continually working to improve its products and services to meet and exceed its customers’ expectations. These are just some of the many reasons why Environetics has established itself as an industry leader in manufacturing high-quality products, customer support, and reliability.

DIRECTOR I™ FLOATING BAFFLES

Dramatically improve wastewater treatment lagoon efficiency with the Director I Floating

FACULTATIVE LAGOONS

Flow diversion curtains increase hydraulic retention time (HTR) and can increase the effective treatment area of a lagoon from less than 20% to over 95%. Floating baffles create hydraulic flow patterns that guide wastewater through a serpentine route from the inlet to the outlet, improving aeration and allowing contaminants and solids to settle. The extended treatment time significantly reduces Biological Oxygen Demand (BOD) and Total Suspended Solids (TSS).

AERATED LAGOONS

Floating baffle curtains separate reactor cells from settling cells to create a dual-power, multicellular (DPMC) aerated lagoon system, allowing aerators to operate more efficiently to dramatically reduce energy costs. The DPMC system consists of four cells separated by baffles. In the first reactor cell, intense aeration generates enough oxygen to convert the influent CBOD to carbon dioxide and biomass while maintaining solids in suspension. The following three settling cells provide sedimentation, solids stabilization, and sludge storage. The settling cells use less aeration to allow solids to settle while supporting a thin aerobic layer at the top of the solids deposit to inhibit algal growth. A properly designed dual-power, multicellular (DPMC) aerated lagoon system using floating baffle curtains uses 50% less power than a comparable Activated Sludge system.

CUSTOM BUILT FOR YOUR LAGOON

Every Director I Floating Baffle is manufactured to fit your specific lagoon profile. Our exclusive fully encapsulated bottom anchor creates an undivided seal along the bottom of the lagoon to prevent short circuiting and protect your liner.

DIRECTOR II™ TANK BAFFLES

A quick, efficient, and satisfactory way to upgrade tank based waste treatment operations is to install a Director II System. The Director II system is designed specifically for tank based waste treatment operations. As regulations have tightened, flow diversion has become an important boost to waste treatment efficiency.

CUSTOM MANUFACTURED FOR NEW AND EXISTING TANKS

Environetics’ Director II is custom manufactured to improve flow patterns in circular or rectangular tanks. The Director II flow diversion baffle system, effective in both new and in existing tanks, will give you the results you need.

COST EFFECTIVE

Ideal for creating a staged treatment process in an existing single stage operation. A multi-stage system can reduce power requirements and save energy costs. The Director II is a cost effective upgrade for activated sludge systems.

  • Creation of aeration or anoxic zone
  • Addition of chlorine contact chambers
  • Designation of mixing or clarification areas
  • Capture of surface scum

Fixed flow diversion panels with an integrated top structural member designed especially for installation in concrete or steel waste treatment tanks.

DIRECTOR III™ CLEARWELL BAFFLES

Eliminate short circuiting, increase retention time, and meet SDWA CT requirements.

MEET SAFE DRINKING WATER ACT REQUIREMENTS

New surface Water Treatment Regulations may require modifications to your Clearwell to ensure adequate disinfection of the primary drinking water supply. Environetics Director III Clearwell baffles are engineered to upgrade the performance of new or existing Clearwell disinfection systems to meet the CT requirements contained in the Safe Drinking Water Act.

INCREASE RETENTION TIME

Environetics Director III Clearwell Baffles are designed to help you cost effectively meet the new treatment standards. Our system of flexible panels of reinforced synthetic rubber attach directly to new or existing Clearwell features - walls, floor, roof and columns - creating a barrier that diverts flow along an extended path. The greater distance the flow must travel increases detention time in the basin. The benefit is controlled detention time for predictable disinfection results!

NSF STANDARD 61 CERTIFIED MATERIALS

Environetics uses a high quality potable grade XR®-3PW synthetic geomembrane material to guarantee compatibility with drinking water sources and ensure long term system performance. This field proven membrane material is polyester reinforced for excellent dimensional stability and structural integrity. This material is also NSF Standard 61 Certified for use in public drinking water supply systems.

DEFENDER™ TANK COVER

Environetics’ Tank Covers provide an attractive solution for enclosing new or existing tank systems. Ideally suited for odor containment and algae control applications, Environetics’ Tank Covers are built to offer a cost effective alternative to aluminum or fiberglass roofs. Our unique mechanical attachment system provides a positive seal for effective odor containment. An attractive low profile design reduces internal volume, decreasing treatment system requirements. The proven geomembrane cover material has provided decades of service in the wastewater industry. Its opaque, light blocking, characteristics virtually eliminate UV light from the tanks for effective algae control.

ODOR CONTAINMENT

  • Positive Mechanical Seal
  • Cost Effective Containment
  • Low Profile, Low Volume Design

ALGAE CONTROL

  • Block UV Light Penetration
  • Improve Filter Efficiency

By partnering with Environetics, Envirep looks forward to educating consumers about the company’s water treatment benefits and bring its services closer to the people.
