Gorman-Rupp Eradicator for Less Clogging
The Gorman-Rupp Eradicator Solids Management System features an aggressive self-cleaning wear plate, including notches and grooves, and a patent-pending lacerating tooth that helps break up stringy materials and passes them through the pump without impacting performance or interrupting service. The back cover includes a patented lightweight inspection cover that is easily removable for impeller inspection.
This innovative design improvement dramatically reduces troublesome clogging and expensive downtime.
Gorman-Rupp developed the Eradicator™ Solids Management System for the Super T Series®, and V-Series® self-priming centrifugal sewage pumps to improve system uptime, decrease service calls to unclog pumps, and increase overall performance.
Innovative Design for Reduced Clogging and Downtime
The Eradicator™ includes a wear plate with notches, grooves, and a tooth that continuously cleans the impeller leading edge. The notches and grooves prevent solids from getting stuck between the impeller and the wear plate. In addition, the tooth prevents rags and wipes from collecting at the eye of the impeller and allows them to pass through the pump.
Another feature Gorman-Rupp added to the Eradicator™ Solids Management System is a lightweight inspection port that allows the operator to inspect the interior of the pump quickly.
A Gorman-Rupp Eradicator comes with new pumps or is installed with existing pumps in the field.
Envirep has successfully installed the Eradicator™ in the T-Series and the V-Series pumps. Upgrade kits are available for existing pumps, including everything you need to simplify field conversions.
