Based in Metuchen, New Jersey, Charter Machine began in 1968 as a full-service machine shop. They expanded into the water and wastewater market in 1974 and later grew further by acquiring Roediger Pittsburgh’s equipment line, known for its trusted press and treatment technology.
Charter’s product line includes belt filter presses, rotary drum thickeners, conveyors, polymer systems, and more. Their experienced in-house engineers ensure every system is tailored to meet each customer’s specific needs.
In addition to manufacturing, they offer rebuilds, rentals, replacement parts, and on-site field service. Charter Machine Company is committed to complete system support—from testing and design to training and installation.
